Senior Accountant

Work place: Prusice

Region: dolnośląskie

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish project account under construction, complete WBS project accounting in SAP, accurately calculate the cost of construction in progress according to local legal requirements, and convert fixed assets on time,
• Monthly depreciation , withdrawal of fixed assets,
• Regularly assist in the inventory of fixed assets, assist in the establishment of fixed asset cards and numbers,
• Review of business contracts, invoice verification and post,
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements,
• Issue supplier account period analysis reports, coordinate the purchasing department for credit management, and maintain the company’s reputation,
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information,

• Contribute to the monthly book-closing process (bank statements booking, booking invoices, checking and booking currency differences, reconciling accounts, booking provisions calculated by controlling).
• Prepare tax returns and ensure tax settlements are correct. Provide financial information to the Accounting Lead by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Maintain the fixed-assets register.
• Cooperate with others to help process and find solutions to all kinds of accounting issues (invoices, VAT rate, reimbursement).

 REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Finance & Accounting area or relevant experience in accountancy in an international environment,
• More than five years of financial work experience in international manufacturing company would be an advantage

• Solid experience in GL or full accountancy,
• Experience in preparing and processing tax documents (VAT and CIT),
• Experience in preparing in financial statements,
• Good command of English (written and spoken),
• Analytical skills,
• Well-organized and detail oriented,
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions,
• Good knowledge of MS Excel would be an advantage,
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines,
• Flexibility to work within a changing environment,
• SAP/IFS knowledge would be an advantage.
